Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport (LIR), located just outside Liberia, Guanacaste, is a major gateway to Costa Rica's Pacific coast.

The airport features a small shop with snacks, drinks, and ready‐to‐eat food, as well as two small restaurants inside.

Parking is available for cars, and although it is currently free, a paid parking system will soon be introduced.

Private cars must park further from the airport, with only rental cars and official tour buses allowed to park closer.

Quick drop‐off and pick‐up at the airport entrance is required, as lingering is not permitted. The airport has good restrooms and convenient facilities for passengers.
